The Consciousness Revolution
Awakening to the Truth, Rising Beyond Division, and Building a New Reality
“To the world we dream about,
and the one we live in now.”
- Hadestown: The Musical
I have friends who live in Mexico.
I have friends who are Palestinian.
I have friends who are Jewish and friends live in Israel.
I have friends who come from every background, every culture, and every religion across the world thanks to my online work and spiritual practice—real people with whom I've shared real, in-depth conversations.
I’ve been on SNAP benefits before.
I’ve been on Medicaid and Medicare and disability.
I’ve paid tens of thousands of dollars (and more) for doctor and hospital visits, supplements, alternative therapies, and medicines to keep me alive and get me better.
I had to run a GoFundMe to keep my house, and it was only by the grace of my friends and family that I was able to pay my mortgage.
So when I talk about the state of the world and politics, it’s not from some distant, removed place. It’s personal. It’s lived. And what I see happening right now, especially here in the United States, is a deliberate erosion of empathy. A weaponization of fear. A rejection of truth in favor of comforting lies and convenient narratives.
You want to talk about false light? It’s sitting in the Oval Office. What blows my mind is how so many in the spiritual community treat him like a savior ushering in a New Golden Age when, make no mistake, there are others behind the scenes pulling his every string.
New Earth isn’t born from division, from saviors, or from waiting for the ‘right’ external conditions to manifest. It is birthed through us—all of us, as a collective, forged through our embodied consciousness, our choices, and the way we show up for one another. It’s built through unity, through remembering that we aren’t here to follow in blind allegiance to another, but to awaken to the divinity within each of us.
I have compassion because I want to change the world, too. I understand the desire for something greater because I've been there. I know what it’s like to struggle. I know what it’s like to be in survival mode, where every decision is shaped by the weight of what you lack, where the stress of making ends meet leaves no room to think beyond the next bill, the next meal, the next health crisis. I know how easy it is to slip into the mindset of me and mine.
But there is a whole world beyond you and yours.
Even when I was in the thick of my own survival, I never stopped caring about humanity. I never stopped fighting for others. I was bedridden and sharing posts on my social media to protect Indigenous land and water rights during the #NoDAPL protests. I had little to offer, but I collected and donated used towels and bedding to my local humane league. I was in ten types of pain and suffering from illness, and I stayed up with other patients in the middle of the night so they knew they weren’t alone in their own suffering.
Because this is what it means to be human. This is what it means to give a damn.
This is what it means to take care of each other and the planet, and helping one helps all but not if the only one we're helping is ourselves.
And the idea that you should only care about something if it directly affects you?
That’s the most dangerous programming of all.
The system as it stands is failing. It doesn’t work and never has. But if we believe that this current administration—or any administration—is going to save us, we need to take a deeper look at ourselves and the ways we’ve been conditioned to believe in our own powerlessness.
Because real change has never come from those in power—it has always come from the people who remember their own.
The only thing that's going to work is if we each remember the uniting threads of our humanity and care for each other.
And yet, here we are. A nation so divided, so conditioned to fear and dismissal of each other, that we’ve forgotten how to think for ourselves. We let politicians, news networks, and social media algorithms tell us what to care about. We let them decide who is worthy of rights, of freedom, of life.
That’s exactly why education matters. Why critical thinking matters. Why breaking free from the narratives that keep people small and afraid matters. There's a huge anti-intellectual movement happening right now, and it’s not by accident. They're ridiculing the "woke" movement, but what that’s really doing is demeaning someone for thinking critically and wanting inclusivity for all, not just the few. They're using the word “liberal” as an insult, but what that really means is that you can think with an open mind beyond yourself.
Because that’s what education does—it expands our empathy. It challenges us to see beyond our immediate experience.
We should want more education, not less.
We should encourage reading books, not banning them.
We should be learning from our history, not repeating it.
I know that from a higher spiritual perspective, everything is unfolding as it should. I have faith in that. I know that the shadows have to be revealed before they can be cleared, and that’s exactly what we’re seeing now. The illusions, the distortions, the deep-seated programming that have kept people operating in states of unconscious for so long—it’s all rising to the surface, demanding to be seen.
This is how ascension works. I know it because I've lived that, too. I’ve crawled through the darkness of my own underworld, examined every corner and crevice of my beliefs, and I’m still learning, still untangling. Evolution is a process. Before we can step into higher consciousness, we have to face everything that's been hidden, everything that's kept us in cycles of separation and suffering, and I see the unity that’s manifesting as a result.
But there's also a human aspect to all of this, and that's where I'm calling shit out.
That's where I'm speaking out.
That's where I will not be silenced.
Just because we understand the higher perspective and have faith in the unfolding, it doesn't mean we turn away in blind trust of a divine plan. That doesn’t mean we detach in the name of “love and light.”
True spirituality isn’t about bypassing reality—it’s about bringing higher consciousness into it.
It’s about embodying love in action, not just in words. And love—real, divine love—is never passive. It’s fierce. It’s just. It protects. It stands for truth, even when that truth is uncomfortable.
No political party is without corruption, and the truth is, deception isn’t confined to just one side. If the goal is to expose the corruption of the Deep State, as so many claim, we have to be willing to look beyond partisan loyalty and question the entire system--even your own belief system. Because at the end of the day, it’s two wings of the same bird. Propaganda exists across the spectrum, and it's being fed to keep people distracted, divided, and compliant so that real change never happens.
This isn’t about right or left, red or blue. This is so far beyond that.
It’s about decency. It’s about integrity. It’s about basic humanity.
I don't give a crap about your political affiliation--I want to know who you are. I want to know if you'll stand up for the innocent, the voiceless, the powerless regardless of race, religion, and status. I want to know if you'll use your privilege and your voice to speak up against injustice, or if you'll sit blithely by because "that has nothing to do with me."
Oh, but it does.
We're all connected on this planet, no matter how much they try to ignore or separate or convince us otherwise. It's time to start remembering this and acting like it.
It's time to start showing up for each other in a way that reflects the world we actually want to live in.
A world that exists for all.
