To Love Oneself
“To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance.”
- Oscar Wilde
Lately we’ve been channeling that to “Know Thyself” is the beginning of your deeper journey into spirituality, and how does one love oneself without knowing oneself?
As multi-faceted beings, there truly is no end to the depth of what lies within, and the more we think we know, the more there is to know. That’s the spiral of discovery, circling deeper and deeper into the soul of ourselves as we discover our connection to the universe and Source energy itself.
Part of the process of ascension is lifting the veil of all the illusory elements of who we think we are, which includes our programming, conditioning, and patterning that plays out in habits, beliefs, addictions, and mindsets.
Transformation is the recognition that we are constantly evolving and allowing ourselves to change and grow without the resistance of the ego. The ego is part of our human identity and as such is necessary for our physical embodiment here on earth. What we’re learning on this ascension journey is how to recognize ourselves as soul first—spiritual beings of high-dimensional frequency directly connected to Source and thus each other—while in physical form.
The ego helps us express the unique soul expression that we are.
What we’re releasing on this journey is the false ego—competition, judgement, limited thinking… That is, anything keeping us in separation from ourselves (recognition of soul), each other, and God Source.
Knowing yourself on an intimate level—being in that place of vulnerability wherein you can be aware of and acknowledge both your shadow and your light—helps you to clear out anywhere you are not aligned to your truth so that you can fully activate the love within.
The more you know and love yourself, the more you’re able to build genuine intimate connections with others, which has a ripple effect on the whole in the frequency of love.
Keep expanding.
