Find Your Faith and You'll Find Yourself
We're on a journey--a journey of life, a journey of the soul--and we already have all that we need within us, our own inner compass guiding our way. It's when we try to control or resist, perhaps listening to outside influence, that we forget to turn inwards.
The external world can be busy, even frantic and chaotic, but it's in the stillness we hear the voice of our soul, and it's in the darkness when we recognize the light.
Allow yourself the patience, compassion, and grace for whatever it is you're experiencing by being present in the gratitude and acceptance for where you are, knowing that you truly get to decide how you write your life story by your next choice or action--and the next after that, and the next after that.
Shift your perspective to shift your energy by looking at the bigger picture of all there is rather than the narrowed focus of only what's before you.
Stretch yourself beyond what you consciously thought you knew to expand into more of who and what you are.
Your journey is still unfolding, even if you feel stuck or stagnant. Keep surrendering and anchor into faith--in yourself, in God, in the ever-flowing energy of life itself.
I'm reminded of the Tolkein quote from Lord of the Rings: "Not all who wander are lost..."
Find your faith and you'll find yourself.
